The Master Brow ArtistMelissa Brunacini creates the most natural looking, realistic hair strokes in eyebrow permanent makeup with the use of Manual Microblading, also known as Eyebrow Embroidery. This technique allows Melissa to create crisp, fine hairstrokes that fill in thin brows, brows with bald spots, total brow reconstruction and even covers the effects of alopecia. Imagine waking up to perfectly groomed brows everyday without having to worry about filling in, smudging, smearing or disappearing. Melissa will customize the right eyebrow shade and thickness for you using a wide range of high quality hypoallergenic semi-permanent makeup pigments and sterilized needle sizes.
What is Microblading?Microblading is semi permanent, superficial solution for sparse, over plucked, over waxed and thinning eyebrows. It is ideal to cover scars and gaps, define shape, create an arch and fill in the brows. Microblading allows to construct natural looking eyebrows for people with very little or no brow hairs.
This procedure is perfect for both men and women.
Eyebrow Microblading is a manual method of depositing a small amount of ink in the outer layer of the skin without reaching the dermis. The needle used in manual microblading is 3 times thinner than the one used in machine, which allows to create very fine, crisp hair strokes that do not blur after healing.
The ProcedureBefore she begins the procedure, she sits down and works with you to shade and shape your brows with a pencil, allowing you to decide on the best color and shape to fit your face. To minimize any discomfort anesthetic creams are used before and during the procedure. The entire process takes approximately 2 hours and there is no down time. A touch up is required once 1-3 months after initial procedure. Pigment retention depends on skin type, age, aftercare, sun exposure, use of certain skin products, pigments used, immune system, medications and other factors. Touch ups are recommended once a year to prevent natural fading. Please note: Eyebrows will appear darker and bolder due to natural scabbing and healing for the first 10 days. This is very common for all semi/permanent cosmetic procedures.

Oily Skin -- Those with very oily skin are, unfortunately, not good candidates for microblading. Oily skin requires special skin care and special considerations when microblading.
However, those with oily or combination skin, may consider a microblading plus shading combo. Shading is a relatively new technique that's perfect for clients with oily skin.
